The following exhibitors will be holding special activities at their exhibition stands.


  • Coffee machine meets Barista: coffee expert Thomas Brinkmann offers coffee specialities for all the senses.
    Venue: Hall 4.0 C08 / alfi
    (This activity will take place from 4 to 7 July)

  • Internationally renowned chef Giorgio Locatelli (Restaurant Locando Locatelli, London) introduces and signs his new cooking book, 'Made in Italy'.
    Venue: Hall 4.0 G93 / DT - Collection Dori Tscherwinka
    (This activity will take place from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 6 July)

  • Famous cartoonist Ole Könnecke presents and signs his latest, charming gift books.
    Venue: GAL0 A02* / DT - Collectione Dori Tscherwinka
    (This activity will take place from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.on 6 July)

  • Tasting French specialities: wine, Champagne, liqueurs, Eau de Vie ... with oysters, a variety of cheeses and pasties.
    Venue: Hall 4.0 B81 / Félix BAAR, Salomon BAAR

  • We cook for you! Would you like to know more about our products? To find out about healthy nutrition? Or simply look over our shoulders??
    Venue: Hall 4.0 E77 / Heinrich BERNDES Haushaltstechnik
    (This activity will take place daily from 11.30 a.m.)

  • Enjoy hot and cold coffee specialities from our Coffee Bar by Könitz range.
    Venue: Hall 4.0 C32 + C37 / Könitz Porzellan

  • Subjects at the stand include:
    • Sharpening knives and care with porcelain and / or grindstone.
    • Weighing with the prize-wining, simple 'Balance' kitchen scales, without electricity or electronic systems.
    • Storing knives properly
    • Everything revolving around product design as a sales factor

  • Thomas Schiessl, German Barista Champion 2008, SCAE, creates coffee specialities. The coffee expert will be pleased to give professional tips when visitors watch him prepare his aromatic hot beverages.
