Bettina Bär is back as head of Tendence
After her parenting leave, Bettina Bär has now been back as head of Tendence since early September. Susanne Schlimgen, who stood in for her in 2018/19, will be coordinating cooperation with numerous retailers’ associations as well as the lifestyle conference Pioneers of Lifestyle on the last day of Tendence. She will also support the ongoing strategic development of Tendence and Nordstil and will continue to be closely associated with both events.
Tendence 2020: new dates and extended to four days
Just a few weeks after Tendence 2019, preparations for the next edition of the trade fair have already started. The hall concepts Style City, Moment Market, Design City and Sunshine State met with a positive response and will continue next year. However, adjustments have been made concerning the number of days and the dates of Tendence 2020.
Tendence 2019: Summer heat and cool trends
Clearly structured by trading forms, lifestyles and target groups, Tendence 2019 focused even more closely on the needs of customers. For three days, 603 exhibitors presented their fashionable lifestyle and trend products. The trade fair’s new, modified concept, numerous events and live presentations contributed to the positive mood among exhibitors and visitors. Despite the summer heatwave, the wide range of products on show were enthusiastically received by the 15,000 trade visitors  – putting them in a buying mood and encouraging them to place orders and make contacts.
Over 60,000 articles: Messe Frankfurt and nmedia launch Nextrade
Any place, any system: Nextrade – the digital ordering platform – celebrates the go-live of its pilot version at the opening of Tendence 2019. Over 40 suppliers with more than 60,000 articles have already set up their B2B shops on the platform.
