Tendence 2019 builds bridges between the craft sector, industry and lifestyles
Memories, convictions and cultural identity: With 25 exhibitors in the Talents promotional area and the winners of the prestigious design competition FORM, Tendence is set to build bridges between the craft sector, industry and lifestyles. The trade show will be held from 29 June to 1 July 2019.
Philipp Ferger appointed Managing Director of nmedia GmbH
Messe Frankfurt has acquired a stake in nmedia GmbH, the European market leader in the field of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), with which it is setting up the Group’s “Nextrade” digital B2B marketplace. Philipp Ferger has been appointed second Managing Director of nmedia GmbH effective 1 June 2019 and will share management responsibilities with Nicolaus Gedat.
Trade fairs are changing: More and more orders are placed after the event
Thanks to digitisation, the kind of order trade shows which we once knew are now fulfilling different functions. Today’s trade fairs are moving more towards forming sustainable networks, building trust for long-term collaboration and experiencing products with all five senses. Ordering during the trade fair itself is becoming increasingly secondary and tends to take place more and more just after the event. This trend is also rising among Tendence exhibitors.
Tendence 2019 puts the spotlight on future fashion designers
Setting the stage for a new generation in fashion and design: the final of the Frankfurt Style Award will be held at Tendence for the first time.
Halls 11 and 12 with highlights for the warmer seasons and for design enthusiasts
The two exhibition halls 11 and 12 complement the new concept for Tendence 2019. While the Sunshine State in Hall 11.0 will put the focus entirely on spring and summer, Hall 12.0 will be transformed into Design City, featuring more up-market products.
