Halls 11 and 12 with highlights for the warmer seasons and for design enthusiasts

May 23, 2019

The two exhibition halls 11 and 12 complement the new concept for Tendence 2019. While the Sunshine State in Hall 11.0 will put the focus entirely on spring and summer, Hall 12.0 will be transformed into Design City, featuring more up-market products.

Design City
Design City covers all the products from the high-end and premium market segments.

Anyone wanting to find out which home accessories will be dominating spring and summer next year will want to focus on the Sunshine State in Hall 11.0, with exhibitors such as Boltze, Edelman, Gasper, Heembloemex, Kersten, Kaemingk and Posiwio. These exhibitors have a good overview of the pre-order business and will be presenting the latest trends that will dominate 2020 for major distributors and specialist chain stores. “We see Tendence as an important trade fair that will undoubtedly become even more attractive due to its very contemporary concept. The new structure of Hall 11.0 – the Sunshine State – is very well suited for buyers in the home accessories industry with their long-term planning strategies, as it will enable them to gain an overview of the trends in the forthcoming spring and summer business, so that they can make their plans and place their orders at an early stage,“ says Jörg Posiwio, CEO of Posiwio. Hogewoning is another company that will be showing its highlights at Tendence. “Hall 11.0 – the Sunshine State – is extremely dynamic. We always pre-sell our products, and so this hall is ideally suited for us. This is the best possible timing for us to present our spring and summer range for 2020. That is why it was the right decision for us to return to Tendence as exhibitors,” says Mark Overgoor, Sales Manager for Germany at Hogewoning.

Just a few steps away from Hall 11.0, Hall 12.0 will be putting a major emphasis on diversity in design. The product categories presented in Design City cover a wide range, including home accessories, jewellery, handcrafted items, gifts and lifestyle products. Whether it’s a classic or modern style, this is where visitors will find exactly the right brands for their product ranges. Companies such as Lambert, Fink Living, Pad Home, Des Pots and Scholtissek will be making the most of Tendence 2019 in Hall 12. “We continue to see Tendence as an indispensable platform to present the full bandwidth of our product range to retailers. We’re looking forward to exhibiting in Design City this year. Where else can we showcase our exclusive, high-quality products as prominently as in this new and architecturally appealing Hall 12?” says Georg Messing, CEO of Fink Living.

The idea of a concept store is equally clearly reflected in the inclusion of fine jewellery exhibitors in Design City, such as Juchem Schmuck and the family-run enterprise A. Schmiesing Diamanthandel. One trend that is continuing to prevail in Germany is Scandinavian home design, and visitors will therefore also see a wide range of Northern European exhibitors in Halle 12.0, including, for the first time, brands such as Care by Me and Kreafunk.

Tendence will be held from 29 June to 1 July 2019.

Tendence – ideas for the future of the retail trade combined with the must-haves of the season
Logically arranged by retail channel, lifestyle and target group, Tendence (29 June to 1 July 2019) takes its cue from the needs of consumers. It therefore enables retailers to compile their product ranges in a highly focused manner and to implement them in their own stores, ensuring the success of their business. As a consumer goods trade fair, Tendence demonstrates the latest trends and products in interior design, home accessories, gifts, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle. Retailers benefit from a wide range of inspirations to support their sales as well as a powerful complementary programme. Tendence is the platform for new products, presenting trends for winter and Christmas. At the same time, it is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to place orders in good time for their spring and summer collections.
