“The new hall plans for Tendence focus more on the target audience and is a way of telling inspirational stories,” explains Susanne Schlimgen, director of Tendence. “For the first time, exhibitors will be showing their products according to retail channel, lifestyle and target group. As everything is geared towards the needs of the consumer, this frees up exhibitors to be even more focused when putting together their product ranges.”
From spring to winter and from Easter to Christmas, the Moment Market in Hall 9.0 provides trade visitors with home accessories, decorations and gifts for the whole year and for every occasion. Exhibitors such as AM Design, Cepewa, Chr. Bollweg, Gilde Handwerk Macrander, Hoff Interieur, Kaheku schönes Wohnen, Werner Voß and Wurm will be demonstrating their latest trends and products. To suit seasonal decorations and show the decorations used for occasions such as weddings, Carnival and Halloween, the Café 5 Jahreszeiten (5 Seasons Café) in Hall 9.0 is a great place for a quick snack or just to gather fresh energy. Hall 9.0 also has a range of stands and pavilions from the Far East with products for volume business.
Putting round balls into round holes: the Micro Golf World Championships at Tendence 2019
The large variety of home accessories, decorations and gifts is not the only reason to visit Hall 9.0: This year’s Micro Golf World Championships are being hosted by Tendence 2019 and will be run at the Moment Market. This younger sister of mini golf is an invention from the German state of Hesse and involves moving around a fully mobile figure of a celebrity player – the micro golfer “Pit Green” – as well as special golf balls. Players can also choose between several different golf clubs and can even take part in official tournaments of the Micro Golf League.
Tendence 2019 will be hosting the qualification rounds and the final Micro Golf World Championships in Hall 9.0 (at D80), followed by the award ceremony, on 30 June. On the Saturday and Monday everyone is welcome to try their hand at micro golf in this specially designated area. The golf course even comes with its own Micro Golf Café, offering snacks and drinks.
Tendence will be held from 29 June to 1 July 2019.
Tendence – ideas for the future of the retail trade combined with the must-haves of the season
Logically arranged by retail channel, lifestyle and target group, Tendence (29 June to 1 July 2019) takes its cue from the needs of consumers. It therefore enables retailers to compile their product ranges in a highly focused manner and to implement them in their own stores, ensuring the success of their business. As a consumer goods trade fair, Tendence demonstrates the latest trends and products in interior design, home accessories, gifts, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle. Retailers benefit from a wide range of inspirations to support their sales as well as a powerful complementary programme. Tendence is the platform for new products, presenting trends for winter and Christmas. At the same time, it is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to place orders in good time for their spring and summer collections.
