“We are pleased that the new hall concept has been so well received and that we’ve been able to attract so many new, first-class exhibitors to our well established trade fair,” comments Philipp Ferger, Group Show Director Tendence. “It shows that it was the right decision to replan Tendence and that we’ve got a good understanding of the needs of the industry.” Here’s an initial preview of new national and international exhibitors in Halls 8, 9, 11 and 12, as well as those returning to Tendence:
Hall 8 – Style City
For the first time, the idea of a concept store will fill an entire hall, Style City in Hall 8. This year’s newcomers will include Au Maison, T&K ScandicToys and Calain, while Auskin Europe and Schaubel are returning after a break. Visitors will discover five lifestyle worlds – Modern, Earth, Urban, Cosy and Adventure – offering inspiration in many different ways. One of the newcomers at Tendence will be the Dutch family enterprise Besselink Licht with its wide-ranging product range of indoor and outdoor lights. They include the “Move Me” product line, a very special lighting method using LED lamps with integrated diffusers.
Hall 9 – Moment Market
The Moment Market is an ideal place for trade visitors wanting to immerse themselves in the colourful world of gifts and decorative products for all occasions. New exhibitors in this hall will include Stearinos, Velas Hispaniola and Suvenix. With the advent of spring and summer, the world outside is getting greener, heralding the start of the wedding season. Can we imagine the most beautiful day of our life without proper decorations? Certainly not. Chr. Bollweg will be back at Tendence, presenting a lovingly compiled range of trendy ideas for decorations, together with romantic wedding accessories. Whether it’s shimmering sculptures, vintage-style lanterns or creative gifts for the happy couple, trade visitors can receive a wealth of inspiration for their business at this stand.
Hall 11 – Sunshine State
The Sunshine State in Hall 11 will be characterised by many decorative products that add even more beauty to the warm and sunny months of the year. This is where volume buyers can meet exhibitors who specialise in indoor and outdoor home accessories. One of the companies in the Sunshine State will be Duif’s Florist Articles. John and Marcel Duivenvoorden and their team have been selling timelessly beautiful vases, baskets and furniture for over 60 years now and are returning to Tendence again this year. Their robust wickerwork and rattan products, for instance, are ideal for a cosy atmosphere. Other natural materials that prevail in their current collection are bamboo, hyacinth leaves and banana leaves.
Hall 12 – Design City
Ranging from traditional to modern, Design City in Hall 12 covers the entire bandwidth of products in the premium segment. After a period of absence, brands such as Autare, Kreafunk and Uashmama will be represented once again. Newcomers at Tendence will include Tica Copenhagen, Be Home, Anna Andreadi, Nord Deco and the Danish interior label Specktrum. Founded by two sisters, Anne and Kristina Laursen, Specktrum revolves entirely around contemporary home accessories that are full of character, leaving a lasting impression. One perfect example is their tea light holder “Shadow T-Light”, made of genuine crystal. This luxurious eyecatcher is available in three colours – clear, grey and rosé.
Tendence 2019 will be held from 29 June to 1 July 2019.
Tendence – ideas for the future of the retail trade combined with the must-haves of the season
Logically arranged by retail channel, lifestyle and target group, Tendence (29 June to 1 July 2019) takes its cue from the needs of consumers. It therefore enables retailers to compile their product ranges in a highly focused manner and to implement them in their own stores, ensuring the success of their business. As a consumer goods trade fair, Tendence demonstrates the latest trends and products in interior design, home accessories, gifts, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle. Retailers benefit from a wide range of inspirations to support their sales as well as a powerful complementary programme. Tendence is the platform for new products, presenting trends for winter and Christmas. At the same time, it is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to place orders in good time for their spring and summer collections.
