Exciting success stories, glimpses behind the scenes and plenty of inspiration: 2 July 2019 will be the second time that pioneers of the lifestyle industry will meet for the Pioneers of Lifestyle conference (POL) at the Messe Frankfurt Forum. Scheduled for the day after Tendence 2019, this event will bring together 450 decision-makers – high-street and online retailers as well as start-ups and corporates.
“In 2018 numerous commercial businesses in the service industry, the retail trade, the digital world and consulting received valuable inspiration at this event, helping them to gain a profile for the future. Following such a successful début, we are very pleased that we can continue with Digital Apartment GmbH in the same format this year,” says Philipp Ferger, Tendence Group Show Director and co-initiator of the conference.
Combining a visit to the trade fair with the conference
Unlike last year POL 2019 will be a one-day event that takes place immediately after Tendence. Collaboration with the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance has made it possible for all conference participants to book an additional night on 2 July from as little as EUR 79. The four participating 4-star hotels are H4 Frankfurt Messe, Intercity Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd, Marriott and Mövenpick. All four hotels are within walking distance of the exhibition grounds. Bookings can be made on the Tendence website, in the section Planning & Preparation. As the conference is held immediately after the trade fair, exhibitors and retailers will have an opportunity to combine both events and to round off their time in Frankfurt with interesting conversations and insights into the future of their industry. Running under the motto “Let’s Talk about the Future”, there will be a range of highly interesting speakers again in 2019, such as Alexander Graf (Spryker), Emine Heuter (Frau Hansen) and Sebastian Heinz (Foodboom). The evening will finish in style with a talk by celebrity designer Guido Maria Kretschmer.
Start-ups: Four days of concentrated expertise and networking
Start-ups will find it particularly worthwhile to spend an extra night in Frankfurt. This is because the combined events will give lifestyle start-ups four days of concentrated expertise and networking, including the Tendence Academy with best practice insights on store design, start-up assistance for online traders, and dedicated POL Masterclasses on social media marketing, design thinking and brand building. Moreover, the conference will feature numerous networking sessions where young entrepreneurs can have conversations with important decision-makers.
