Tendence 2018: always ahead of the times

Tendence is a godsend for buyers and trend scouts who want to find the right information before everyone else, at the right time and in the right place. Differentiated categories and a colour-coded signage system make it easier to look for innovation, inspiration and information.

Tendence is very popular with retailers from Germany and Europe. Taking place from 30 June to 3 July 2018, it will be the main ordering event for the winter and Christmas season and also function as a premiere and first ordering event for the spring and summer season next year. An established player when it comes to information on innovations and trends, Tendence hazards a look at the near future every year and sees further ahead than others.

Preview of spring/summer 2019

Tendence will be presenting the 'must-haves' for next spring and summer 2019, functioning once again as the marketplace for preliminary information and first ordering event for the 2019 season. Exhibitors marked with the 'Spring/Summer 2019' label will offer trend-conscious visitors a look ahead to future trends and on-trend products for the first half of 2019. Small quantities, but a huge impact!

Small and medium-sized retailers, who only have limited storage and sales space, will be able to order very small quantities this year from selected suppliers. These suppliers, who do not impose a general obligation to purchase a specified minimum order quantity, can be identified by the 'Small quantities' label at this year’s Tendence.

Ethical Style - authentic and aesthetic

When it comes to bio, eco and natural products, everything looks green. This year, sustainable, environmentally friendly and fairly produced products can be found on the stands of exhibitors who are listed in the catalogue and on the website under the 'Ethical Style' keyword. It seems to be obligatory to use shades of green when communicating eco-friendly and sustainable themes, so the 'Ethical Style' exhibitors’ stands will be labelled accordingly - in green, of course!

Tendence – international trade fair for consumer goods

Tendence (30 June to 3 July 2018) is Germany’s most international order venue for the second half of the year. The wide-ranging product portfolio covers fields of the home, furnishing, decorating, gifts, jewellery, fashion accessories, tableware, kitchenware, home textiles and outdoor living. Special shows and a wide-ranging complementary programme of events are multi-faceted sources of sales-boosting impulses for retailers.
