The curated promotional programme Talents is aimed at students, young design studios, craftworkers and goldsmiths with or without trade fair experience. “It’s very much on our hearts to offer a real chance to promising newcomers. This is why our Talents programme supports not only very young applicants such as university graduates, but also more experienced participants who have had some initial success in their niche and are now wanting to go one step further,” says Philipp Ferger, Tendence Group Show Director.
Talents will be an integral part of Lifestyle Design in the Style City (Hall 12.0) at Tendence 2020. Running under the heading Modern Crafts & Jewellery, Talents will be ideally placed next to another crowd puller: the exhibition of the prestigious design competition Form.
Participants in the promotional programme in Frankfurt receive a free space in the Talents area, PR work and hands-on support from the experienced trade fair team. “We deliberately invest in the coming generation, as they enliven both our industry and our trade fair. Both sides have been benefiting from this for nearly 20 years now,” says Philipp Ferger. In summer 2019 he welcomed 25 Talents who created links between the crafts sector, industry and lifestyle. Tendence is purely a specialists’ trade fair. As the new-products platform for the second half of the year, it showcases the latest trends and products in furnishings, home accessories, gifts, jewellery, fashion accessories and leisure for the coming winter and Christmas season. It also provides a preview of the first spring and summer collections.
Anyone who is interested in taking part in Talents is welcome to apply with their unique items, limited series and prototypes by 19 March 2020.
